Hello , Admin here ,

i have been in this path for nearly 4 years now , and i have made mistakes along the way . it all started with being done with self hate : wanting to love myself , done being my first enemy , done with my negative thoughts . so i thought of two things : books and youtube . my first self help book was the mountain is you by brianna wiest (highly recommend ) and first youtube video was “how to heal your emotional trauma” by lavendaire .then i entered the rabbit hole, learning all about limiting beliefs , inner child , attachment styles etc

One of the main mistakes i made was thinking that self improvement would itself make me love myself , it was coming from self hate and self rejection to my current version in the hope of becoming someone else.

The second mistake was thinking self improvement is this constantly exciting journey where i wake up with specific curated routine : meditation , journaling, affirmations , workout. forgetting that there would be days where i would fall off track and that is okay , i think we all at some point were tyrants towards ourselves

There are other mistakes i have made along the way.

throughout this path, i got inspired , i wanted to help people on their own journey but i didn’t know how , i don’t want to be a youtuber , i don’t like appearing in front of a camera, i liked the idea of content creation but wanted to stay anonymous so i got the idea of starting a pinterest page , and i called it the self improvement diaries , i share prompts , tips and book summaries , affirmations

it’s now a little corner on the internet for anyone who wants to build a life they are proud of without burning out or chasing perfection

you will find here blogs about growth , mindsets , routine and struggles we face in this journey as why we stop midway , how to not make our goals our entire life and forget how to live , and the boring side of self improving,( yes it can get boring and it will)

I may have just started, but this blog is meant to grow with me and with you. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or wondered if you’re doing self improvement “right,” you’re not alone.

Growth isn’t a race , take what helps skip what doesn’t and give yourself grace and room to be human while you figure things out

whether you have been in this journey for years , are starting over , or are new here, the self improvement diaries is here to help

i am glad you are here , feel free to look around , i hope you find something that speaks to you today

Welcome and happy growing
